Hello and welcome!

I’m KC—an OB/GYN physician and host of The OB/GYN Resident Survival Guide podcast.

I was born and raised in Canada where I completed a BA in Communication Studies before deciding to change career paths and go to medical school. I later moved to the Caribbean to attend medical school in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. During this time, I documented my journey as a non-traditional, international medical student, sharing advice and insights on YouTube, my blog and Instagram.

In 2020, I matched into OB/GYN residency and spent the next four years fully immersed in the world of obstetrics and gynecology. Residency was intense, humbling, challenging and transformative. Along the way, I developed a strong interest in resident education and wellness—interests that now shape much of what I do.

That’s where this website—and The OB/GYN Resident Survival Guide podcast—comes in. My goal is to provide concise, evidence-based resources that help you succeed in the trenches of residency. On the podcast, I share weekly bite-sized episodes filled with clinical pearls, efficiency tips, and personal stories from my own experience as a resident.

Here, you’ll find links to each podcast episode (with their associated transcripts and references) along with downloadable guides, templates, and patient counselling blurbs you can save into your SmartPhrases to make documentation easier. If you scroll far enough back, you’ll also find archived content for international medical students.

Whether you're preparing for intern year or navigating OB/GYN residency right now, I’m glad you’re here. Have a look around, and if you have any questions or podcast episode requests, you can reach me at info@drkcmiller.com
